Hikkaduwa post 2004 tsunami has several tailors who can sew up your shirts or clothes and that’s because the sewing machines were given as a means of livelihood to many from the neighboring village s who lost their homes and means of earnings in the 2004 tsunami. Hence Hikkaduwa will not be a difficult place for you to find a seamstress or tailor to run you a quick stitch.
The fishing boats near the beach are a sight. Though nothing grandiloquent about these boats the view of theme meandering in the waters can draw your attention deeply. The view of Beach during sunset is always said to be the best however it’s additionally mesmerizing to watch the view of sunset while at Hikkaduwa beach. Hikkaduwa has become a popular tourist destination in Srilanka tour package and economy here seems to be on rise with mostly European travelers paying visits in a larger ratio. |
